The last paragraph of the article bothers me. It's needlessly mean, for one - and childish with the name-calling and being hopeful that the LARPers are virgins. Beyond that, I'm guessing that whoever wrote the bit about being generally disliked by English professors and suitemates didn't do anything resembling a survey of students and faculty to make their determination. So what's the solution? I'm not sure. I'm hesitant to change it outright just because I think it warrants a discussion. But at the same time, that last paragraph seems to be a useless attack on a group of people. So what do we do about it? Thoughts? [[User:Billymax85|Bill M.]] 22:18, 21 August 2008 (CDT)

A concern

The last paragraph of the article bothers me. It's needlessly mean, for one - and childish with the name-calling and being hopeful that the LARPers are virgins. Beyond that, I'm guessing that whoever wrote the bit about being generally disliked by English professors and suitemates didn't do anything resembling a survey of students and faculty to make their determination. So what's the solution? I'm not sure. I'm hesitant to change it outright just because I think it warrants a discussion. But at the same time, that last paragraph seems to be a useless attack on a group of people. So what do we do about it? Thoughts? I've also protected the page from further edits just to make sure nothing else like this gets posted until we've discussed how to handle it. Bill M. 22:18, 21 August 2008 (CDT)
