Loren Lindgren was an admission counselor in the Office of Admission at Knox College. His recruitment area was Southern Illinois, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

He was recently fired from the admission office for being un-professional. Many people believe this to be a big mistake. He is still living in galesburg and is a good friend to many knox students.

In the summer of 2009 he played Harold Hill in the local production of the Music Man.

He received his B.A. in mathematics at Knox. While at Knox he was known for wearing a blanket around campus in the winter and for singing in the Caf. He began working at Knox in the 2007-2008 year.
