Matt Lawton

Matt Lawton was a member of the class of 2008 from Portland, Oregon. He was also a member of the Honor Board. He was pretty cool, but then he took a leave of absence for 2006-2007 and subsequently transferred to a school in Oregon. He left Galesburg in early April. His goodbye party involved drama.

Matt was well known for his cavalier disregard for his own health. He has been known to drink 21 shots in a sitting. He once broke a window in Sherwin-Neifert while drunkenly knocking on it, and required a few dozen stitches/staples up his arm. Despite the fact that he is allergic to gluten, one night shortly before his return to Oregon he ate dinner at an Olive Garden and then drank a couple of 40s.

He did, however, "keep the freaks away" quite admirably.
