Dana Becker
Dana Becker is a recent Knox College graduate. She majored in German and minored in Economics and Dance History. People continually ask her how those three things fit together and the real answer is that, well, they don't really. But she tries to explain that they distill down to culture and business and that those will help her go into the world of Fine Arts Management.
Outside of class she spends lots of her time on Sigma Alpha Iota. Other Knox hobbies of hers included Women's Chorale, Here Comes Treble, the Knox-Sandburg Community Band where she played flute, hanging out with the members of the formerly known Suite Awesome, and other things too numerous to name. On a few occasions she also tried to play Water Polo.
She spent her first few years at Knox working in dining services before she got a job as the AV Girl for the Dance Department. After that she worked for Brian Gawor on the Phonathon and for Jennifer Keegan as a Teleambassador for the Office of Admissions.
As part of her German major, she studied abroad in Vienna, Austria during her junior year. As far as she knows, the was the only member of the class of 2008 who majored in German.
