Pi Beta Phi
Pi Beta Phi Illinois Beta-Delta Chapter is the only dually chartered sorority in the country. Founded as a women's Fraternity April 28, 1867 at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill.
At "Pie a Pi Phi" (May 9, 2007) you can pie Pi Phis with pies. The donations from this event were used to purchase books for the Cooke elementary school this year.
Knox Chapter
On campus, PiPhis have the reputation of being down to earth. They have escaped most of the negative (and untrue) stereotypes attached to sorority life as a whole.
PiPhis are friendly and welcoming to newcomers, which explains why the sorority is currently at its full capacity, at 52 active members.
Symbols
Pi Beta Phi's colors are wine and silver blue.
The symbol for Pi Beta Phi is the arrow, worn as a badge over member's hearts. The arrow reminds members to aim high, and aspire to achieve great things.
The official flower of Pi Beta Phi is the wine carnation.
