Daphne the Musical

Daphne the Musical was a short-lived band centered at Knox College from Winter 2005 - Summer 2006. Consisting of Knox students Matt Holland and Sean Dowdy, along with Sean's friends Adam Strunk and Luke Dowdy, Daphne began practicing and playing shows at Knox in the winter of 2005. During their residency, the fellas recorded the LP "Radio, Indiana" which was produced in part by Jason Caddell of the late Dismemberment Plan. The fantastic artwork for the record was designed by friend and fellow Knox flaneur Keenan Wells. Following a summer tour in 2006, the band decided to throw in the towel.

Sean and Matt currently live with Mike "Hef" Birnbaum in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. They also play in a new group called Spiller Whale with artist & pianist extraordinaire Keenan Wells.
