Jubilee Close (2005-2096) was born in San Jose, California to Loda and Alexander Wasik, both Polish immigrants. She is most notable for inventing the toenail clippers in 1959. Her other lesser-known inventions include the shoe horn, shoe spray, and foot polish (not to be confused with Polish foot, which is what she proudly had at the end of each of her legs.)

From 2023-2028 she attended Knox College in Galesburg Illinois. Throughout her time at Knox, and even later in her career as a municipal clerk, she harbored an inexplicable resentment for Emily Anderson, her faculty advisor and reluctant employer. In 2029 she stated, "I hate her I hate her I hate her I hate her I hate her." (In reference to Dr. Anderson) No one can explain this unwaranted hatred, least of all Ms. Close herself, who stated in 2087, "I really hate her. I don't know why, but I just do," to a group of passing schoolchildren.

Not to be confused with Preeti Arra.
