Galesburg used to have a Maytag plant. After Bill Clinton signed the North Atlantic Free Trade Agreement in 1994, the plant moved to Mexico and a lot of locals lost their jobs. Mark Ridolfi's Interactive Journalism class started a blog about the issue, 33 months, in view of Clinton's appearance in Galesburg.
