The residents of Post 8 in 2008 are an esoteric group of derelicts. They are part of a housing block of 15, most of whom also appropriated Conger 1 and Neal 1 for the 07-08 year. This group now represents a minority of the 06-07 residents of Seymour 2.

There are tensions growing between Post 8 Upper and Post 8 Lower. "Border Disputes" have left several dead and the remaining live in a constant state of alert, ever watchful of the other's movements. If a diplomatic solution is not found soon, epic battles will probably ensue. The ruin will be total and the fallout will last for generations.

Neither level has complete dominance over the other. Each has it's own strengths and weaknesses. All are being probed and exploited as this conflict deepens. Tensions rest on a hair trigger since Rachel Perez (a Lower resident) was locked out of her own room by Upper Floor hooligans. With no third party offering to mediate, negotiations are rare and fruitless. Both sides are gathering their allies under their banner. Steak Haus is rumored to side with Upper Post 8 while the Lower Post 8 residence are assumed have the backing of two powerful sororities. The slightest aggression on either side could lead to full mobilization and a war that will shake the very foundations of the building.

Rumors permeate party lines of one source of salvation: one Perrin Rademacher. With neither side having dominance, Rademacher's return can be a catalyst for a major shift in power. Post 8 Upper residents hope that he will defend his heritage as one of them, while Post 8 Lower can only pray that his natural mitigatory and diplomatic skills, coupled with a commanding presence, can bring an end to these tensions, rising above innate hatreds and providing a Golden Age of harmony never before seen in the history of this institution.

A horrible affliction is decimating the ranks of Post 8ers. The viral contagion Dramaticus Exasperatus or Drama in its common name, has made its home in the once venerated suite. Experts and victims alike suppose the toxin first found its way into the suite through the rampant suite-cest that has taken the once humble residents by storm. Early warnings from survivors from previous outbreaks such as Meredith Noseworthy went unheaded. The disease has worked its way into the very fabric of the suite and the minds of the residents. No room can be assumed safe as each quarantined corner has fallen one after the other.

If you value your humanity, and have the nuclear launch codes, it is your duty to remove Post 8 from existence before this vile pathogen can spread any farther. You must not hesitate, to do so could mean the end of Knox itself.

"November Surprise" Militant Extradition Agreement Reached - UP8 talks disarmament

Today at a press conference, UP8 spokescartoon Sarah Colangelo spoke about a just-disclosed extradition agreement between the two factions in regards to two of the UP's most infamous militants, Emman Mascariñas and John "Dastardly" Perleberg. The catalyst for this solution to the long-standing longitudinal dispute was an offer by southerly neighbor SNu to grant the two political asylum. "The transfer will be effected during the Postian nation holiday Winterbreak" said Colangelo. "We hope that the downers will make good on their word and stop threatening intervention by an intersuite agency like the KKG."

Likewise, the LP8 today expressed hope that today's move would improve the situation on the ground. "Now that those ruffians are off the front lines and out of the area, there's chance for real improvement" said LP8 lead negotiator Rachel Perez. "We hope for more meaningful discourse in the future; a discourse that won't involve throwing messy things and locking doors."

A SNu insider also spoke to us on condition of anonymity. "These individuals are very ideologically compatible with their adoptive home, and everyone feels they should help us scale future heights and achieve our lofty aspirations".
