SMC Whale

The SMC whale is a 55-ft whale skeleton that was put on display in the newly built Umbeck Science-Math Center. It's the skeleton of a fin whale, the second largest mammal on Earth, and was killed in a ship strike in 2012 :(. According to the Knox College official website, it is one of only four fin whales on public display in the U.S. that are not within 100 miles of a coast.

In October 2023, the Knox College YikYak was forever changed by the appearance of Whale Guy, an anonymous poster who begged the question: has anyone ever thought about fucking the smc whale... i had a really weird dream about it just now wanted to find out if im the only one. Whale Guy then proceeded to double down and attack posters who questioned his questionable thought process or his pervy perspective on the bones of large aquatic mammals. His true identity has yet to be revealed - he could be any one of us.
