The SLC is colloquially known as 'slick,' possibly the best acronym pronunciation foible since the Committee to Re-Elect the President (CREEP). It consists of a member of the administration (currently Dean [[Xavier Romano]], although the faculty passed a resolution saying somebody new should be the chair or something like that), three faculty members, and the [[Student Senate]] Executive Board, minus committee chairs. SLC has a significant hand in dictating the issues campus discusses and the spin that they're presented with.
