I don't think I agree with the decision to redirect all the Studio Art minors to this page. Beyond being minors, they are also techniques and mediums, and their pages might (eventually) have more information than simply their acedemic specifics. I think a better alternative would be to give them each their own page that has a link to, and can be linked from, the main Studio Art page. The more specific individual pages are, the better, IMO. I concur with GreatHeights. Maybe the pages could start of by saying something like "Sculpture is a course of study offered through the Studio Art program. It includes one minor" and then go on to discuss the specifics of sculpture/printmaking, etc. --Stockholm syndrome 15:28, 26 July 2007 (CDT)

I don't have any problem with that, if that's what is preferred. I simply had them all redirected here because this is the major of which they are minors. Is there sufficient content, though, for each minor, or would it perhaps be less redundant simply to make subtopics in/after the "Overview" section and have each of the five redirect pages redirect to the specific subsection on the Studio Art page? After all, the Studio Art major appears to be more or less a combination of two or more of the minors at the major's discretion, so information offered on each minor might well be right at home on the major page. I think that sounds fine in terms of how to organize those subsections of the main Studio Arts page. What I was getting at, however, is that perhaps each of the minors should have their own page because, beyond being acedemic minors, they are also specific mediums and there might be people who would want to add things that are related to sculpture, for example, in the larger sense, not in relation to the course of study in which one learns how to create sculpture. Perhaps a disamb page with one link going to the Studio Art subsection and another going to a more general page? Just an idea. GreatHeights 15:40, 27 July 2007 (CDT)
