Winter break

Winter break starts in mid-November, before Thanksgiving, and ends in January, after New Years. The break is perfect for working the holiday shopping rush, unless you're taking December term classes.

Spending Winter Break on campus doing nothing can be totally bleak, or totally great, depending on how much you like isolation and biting cold. If you do decide to spend the winter holed up alone on campus, you'll probably get to meet some international students that you've never met before, and have time to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy in order, back to back, high as a kite, just like you've always wanted to.
