Editing Center for Global Studies

The '''Center for Global Studies''' an academic support office organized under the [[Special Programs]] offerings of the [[Office of Academic Affairs]].  The current co-directors are faculty members, [[Bob Seibert]] and [[Michael Schneider]].

The Center for Global Studies, founded in [[Fall 2002]] and endowed with a grant from [[Caterpillar]] in [[Summer 2003]] and again in [[Summer 2006]], is responsible for bringing in international speakers, programs, and scholars-in-residence.  It is closely associated with the [[Integrated International Studies] program.  The Center also coordinates the [[Caterpillar Distinguished Lecture Series]].  The Center maintains a small library of international studies research materials.

Most importantly, the Center coordinates [[study abroad]] programming, and processes and approves study-abroad applications for Knox students.

The Center for Global Studies office in located in [[Old Jail]] 10.
