When you drink a lot of alcohol, you get drunk.
If you keep drinking after you're drunk, you get alcohol poisoning.
If you are drunk often, you may be an alcoholic.
Drunkenness is measured by a persons Blood Alcohol Content (BAC). The legal limit in Illinois is .08 and death usually occurs between .35 and .40.
