Red Light District is a theme party held annually in the first few weeks of Fall term by TKE where guests dress as denizens of a red light district. In the past, most women dressed as prostitutes and most men dressed as pimps, but as time has passed and more flamboyant men (<-lol) have joined the ranks of TKE those gender lines have blurred.
  
Red Light District is, at least, a straight-forward theme: girls dress as prostitutes and guys dress as pimps.

Some people say that Red Light is degrading to women. In the years when the party was called "Pimps and Hos," Some students from [[SASS]] went to the party dressed up as garden hoes to protest. Similar concerns have been raised about other TKE parties [[High Society]], and [[Hot For Teacher]].
