This is what happens when a first-year comes in with so many AP/community college credits that the college is forced to label them 'sophomore' and allow them to graduate one year early, hence saving the student but depriving the school of thousands of dollars.
Sophomore standing is a big pile of poop. You may have sophomore standing, but you're still going to get lost in SMC. You will still get closed out of classes. And the chances of those AP credits accomplishing anything useful, such as getitng you out of a course actually required for graduation, is nill.
Don't talk about it. No one wants to know.
