Yuppies, or young urban professionals, are a nationwide trend.
The males can be identified by their popped collars, Northface jackets, and cavalier treatment of $1500 Blackberries. The women can usually be seen barhopping in the middle of winter in a miniskirt and 4-inch heels, pretending that they are not cold and that their feet don't hurt.
Some Knox students will grow up to be Yuppies, although most will be unable to make enough money to reach yuppie status with their degrees in Creative Writing.
