Creative Writing is a course of study offered through the English Department. It includes one major and one minor. The department is located in Old Main.

Creative Writing is one of Knox's most popular majors and many students were attracted to the school by the English department. It is sometimes referred to as "Applied Alcoholism" by Knox Students.
