Course Description
Official Course Description
"Includes fundamentals of composition, proper exposure, digital image capture and image editing processes. Students can provide a suitable digital camera, or the college will have a limited number of digital cameras for check out. Photoshop software is used for editing, with in-class demonstrations of editing techniques; but this is not primarily a course to learn Photoshop. There are weekly photo assignments covering a variety of creative approaches, one in-depth documentary project chosen by each student, and a final portfolio: all critiqued by the class as a group.
