"Veritasiness" was invented by Tom Fucoloro's mother in reference to Stephen Colbert's visit to the college in 2006. It is a translation of his own personal buzzword, "truthiness." The administration would later steal Tom's mother's idea for a t-shirt they had made for the television star.
