Alcohol poisoning means that you drank too much. Considering that most of Knox's student body drinks too much on a regular basis, you should be aware of the signs of alcohol poisoning, which are as follows:
- Mental confusion, coma, or person cannot be woken up
- Vomiting
- Seizures
- Slow Breathing- fewer than eight breaths per minute
- Irregular Breathing- 10 seconds or more between breathes
- Hypothermia, bluish skin color, and/or paleness
If someone is experiencing any number of these conditions, call Campus Safety. They are not judgmental, and put safety before discipline.
