Jimmy Wales is the founder of Wikipedia and, more broadly, the WikiMedia organization. His organization is responsible for the open source software used to create the Wiki Fire.
At Knox[edit]
Wales visited Knox College in June 2006 when he received an honorary doctorate from the school during convocation, or graduation. His visit was largely over-looked because Stephen Colbert visited the same day.
