The first known High Society was held on Seymour 2 on March 24, 2000. It was one of the first of a series of parties held after residents discovered they could get away with almost anything under the lax supervision of RA Drew Mauck, class of 2000, who would often attend the parties. Other Spring Term 2000 parties included Flaming Drink Night and The Giant Circus of the Mighty.
A High Society reprisal was held on January 31, 2003 in the Hamblin apartment of Drew Bazan and Joe Mohan. The bar primarily contained low-quality alcohol from Osco Drug and the Quick Stop.
Current Incarnation[edit]
High society is an annual TKE party that you can only come to if you get an invitation. People dress up all swanky. It happens at the end of fall term.
In 2004-05, Townhouse A had a low society party. It was pretty awesome.
