The Writing House (German: Das Schreibenhaus) was a Knox College theme house during the 1998-99 (at 542 S West St) and 1999-00 (at 697 S West St) school years. It hosted many parties, including shows by This Many Boyfriends Club and The Love Bees. The writing house also hosted regular B-movie viewings, typically consisting of three or more films based on a particular (and often absurd) theme. Memorably, two '01ers once showed up on acid to a screening of "Apt Pupil".
