Each student is given an ID number on their ID cards when they arrive at Knox, and they rarely actually need it.
When you need your ID number
- If you forget your card when you go to the caf This not true- you can't eat without your ID card. Period.
- When you charge your account for any reason
- When you order a transcript or do other things involving the registrar's office
Fun ID number tricks
ID numbers become important again during housing lottery, when numbers are assigned according to ID number. In order to figure out who has the best numbers, you will need to match their name with their number. Faces photos are named IDNUMBER.jpg. This is the easiest way to find them.
