The Center for Global Studies is an academic support office organized under the Special Programs offerings of the Office of Academic Affairs. The current co-directors are faculty members, Bob Seibert and Robin Ragan.

The Center for Global Studies, founded in Fall 2002 and endowed with a grant from Caterpillar in Summer 2003 and again in Summer 2006, is responsible for bringing in international speakers, programs, and scholars-in-residence. It is closely associated with the Integrated International Studies program. The Center also coordinates the Caterpillar Distinguished Lecture Series. The Center maintains a small library of international studies research materials.

Most importantly, the Center coordinates study abroad programming, and processes and approves study-abroad applications for Knox students.
