A "SMC Rat" (pronounced "smack rat") is an individual who spends so much time in SMC between classes and studying for said classes that they may as well live never leave. SMC rats often flinch in the daylight and are irrationally frightened of the other academic buildings on campus.
This all might sound rather unsexy, but once you go SMC, you never go back.
