Yuppies, or young urban professionals, spawn from the Wrigleyville region of Chicago. They did not originate in Chicago or Wrigleyville and are a nationwide trend. The males can be identified by their popped collars, Northface jackets, and cavalier treatment of $1500 Blackberries. The women can usually be seen barhopping in the middle of winter in a miniskirt and 4-inch heels, pretending that they are not cold and that their feet don't hurt.
