Knox Bowl

A sports area more traditionally used for sledding, smoking, drinking and boning. With the exception of the observatory on the roof of SMC, it's also the best place on campus to watch the night sky.

If you are caught here by Knox College Security, you will be reported to the Office of Student Development and nothing will happen.

Indeed, one is not truly a Knox student until they have broken into the Knox Bowl.

In celebration of the world wide marijuana holiday, April 20th, Knox stoners annually descend into the bowl at 4:20 in the afternooon, where they sit in a large circle and smoke their much loved cannabis. Last year roughly 56 people were in attendance.
