Aux Gym

One of the creepier buildings on campus, especially at night, the Aux Gym is home to various Knox dance groups, including Terpsichore and Ballroom Dance. It is also home to bats, who fly around to amuse and inspire dancers while they are practicing. The basement is particularly amazing, you should check it out.
On March 1, 2008, a Galesburg firefighter happened to attend a Terp show and noticed that the building was nowhere near up to the fire code, and so it has been declared hazardous for occupancy by more than 50 people at a time. Because Knox is poor, there are currently no plans for doing anything about it, and so Terp is looking for a new performance space.[1]
