[[Bitch and Animal]] played later in the term. [[The Guns of Navarone]], [[Horseshoes for Handgrenades]], and two other bands played even later in the term. These four bands, with a number of overlapping members, comprised the entirety of the Alton, IL math-rock scene. Many bands have played at Knox. Some of them were brought to campus by formal organizations, such as Union Board or WVKC. Others were the effort of an individual, such as Chris Ternes.
