Brent Aronowitz
Brent, also known as "Hushpuppy" to some, hails from Neenah, Wisconsin (hometown of Director of Admissions Paul Steenis). It is rumored that this 2006 Anthropology and French major owns both Kimberly-Clark and the Neenah Foundry Company (makers of Neenah sewer covers found in Galesburg and throughout the Midwest).
Despite his appearances on the Harbach stage, Brent became a Knox legend when he shared the role of commencement speaker with Stephen Colbert, D.F.A. Both men wore light pink shirts, a sign of their shared genius. Although Colbert brought in many laughs, some believe that Brent's speech was in fact more hilarious. Brent was, according to Brenda Fineberg, a "hoot."
During the 2006-2007 year, 'love walked in' to Nova Singers when Brent took a position as their manager.
In his downtime, Brent enjoys baking casseroles and being part of polyamorous relationships.
