Feminist
A feminist is not the same thing as a lesbian, although based on how lesbians get treated by the patriarchy, a lot of them get pissed off with it and decide to join up. Some gays are feminists too.
What is a feminist?[edit]
Feminists are people who believe in the equality of men and women. Maybe you are already a feminist and just didn't know it.
A lot of people are afraid to say they are feminists because they thing they will have to burn their brassieres and run around in the woods and hate men and never have sex and go to women-only folk music festivals. However, those kinds of things mostly stopped happening in the second wave, although I'm sure they're still out there if you go looking.
In fact, many feminists would be perfectly happy to have you keep your brassiere, if maybe to help you find one that fits your body better and makes you more comfortable. There's nothing worse than a badly-fitting bra.
What to do if you are being oppressed[edit]
If you are being oppressed because you are a woman (or for that matter because you are a man), by your bra or otherwise, please consult the nearest feminist for help. She (or he) will help you smash the patriarchy and then the two of you can go out for tea. Or to a folk music festival if you really want to.
