Kresge Science-Mathematics Library
The SMC Library, as it is colloquially referred to, is usually peopled by no more than 12-15 students at a time. No one has ever been upstairs, but it is rumored to have all of the articles you were looking for in that scientific journal, somewhere.
There are a total of 7 computer terminals, 3 of which are public, 4 of which are not.
Things that can be Checked out from SMC
- The usual gamut of reserves and science books, as long as they're not reference or periodicals
- Books from the Green Oak collection
- Keys to the Darkroom
- Keys to D203, the Oral Presentation lab
- You can also reserve the Nixon Conference Room, A-212, but not on Wednesdays from 2:40 to 4, as it's already reserved. (The Nixon Conference Room has the unmistakable musk that accompanies intense scientific study, you know it's kind of like White Lithium grease, burnt capacitor, body odor, and a little bit of urea.)
