Here are some nice alcoholic drinks. If you were looking for something without alcohol, try beverages.
Please be careful not to have too many, or you'll get alcohol poisoning.
Contents
Beer
See main article at beer.
Uncle Grandpa
See main article at Uncle Grandpa.
1/3 lemonade, 1/3 ginger ale, 1/3 whiskey, preferably the cheapest you can find
Dirty Grandma
1/2 Sweet Vermouth, 1/2 Dry Vermouth, dash of Bitters. The Dirty Grandma was first poured in the fall of 2000 for a student who claimed that he would only drink alcohol from glass bottles. While the Dirty Grandma can be served over ice as a sipping drink, it is recommended only as a shot.
Gin in Wine
Add gin to white wine.
Gin and juice
Add gin to juice. Apple or Cranberry is good.
Vanilla Vodka and Cranberry
I know it sounds gross, but it's not.
The Hemingway
Named after Ernest Hemingway. Take 1 bottle of cheap Scotch, saturate with salt until it will no longer dissolve, add 4 strips of bacon. Seal, and allow to sit for 4 months. Drink.
The Hemingway was attempted during Winter Term 2008 by Neal 1. The results were horrifying.
Vitamin Whiskey
Invented in Spring 2007. Goes well with vinyl recordings of The Unicorns and the movie Lumumba.
Take a bottle of Vitamin Water (works best with Revive Fruit Punch), drink down approximately to the ridge above the label (depending on taste), and fill with whiskey.
Helmut Kohl
Not to be confused with the dear head of Dining Services, Helmut Meyer, this drink is named after the former German prime minister for no reason at all, the drink is a classic from Neifert Basement circa 2005-2006. When mixed well, it will approximate the taste of the soda-dispenser lemonade at the Gizmo, but have one and a half to two shots of vodka in it.
In an old fashioned glass, pour one to two shots of vodka to taste. Fill the glass with one half sour mix and one half Squirt or other grapefruit soda. A dash of lemon juice may be added if you wish.
Cordless Drill
A new take on the screwdriver, also popular in the 2005-2006 Neifert Basement.
In an old fashioned glass, pour one to one and a half shots of vodka. Add half to one shot of lemon juice, and fill with Orangina.
