Monmouth Boulevard and St. Joseph Road are two sections of the same street in Galesburg. The street runs diagonally toward the southwest at about 30 degrees south of horizontal.
The street runs from its northeastern end at the intersection of South Street and Academy Street to its southeastern end at 000 E at the Warren County line. Most of the street, including its most northeast portion and the part west of Route 41 outside Galesburg, is designated St. Joseph Road; only the section between Route 41 and Henderson Street is called Monmouth Boulevard.

The road is largely industrial. The Maytag plant is located on it.
