First Street is a street in Galesburg. It runs east-west, and marks the 700 block south.

The street runs from its western end at Avenue B to its eastern end at Whiting Avenue. First Street has a large gap between Cedar Street and Seminary Street where it would cross the Burlington Northern Santa Fe mainline track. It has a second substantial gap between Day Street and Ohio Avenue (near Grand Avenue, between which part of the general right-of-way is taken up by Conger Street.

West of Broad Street it is called West First Street, and east of Broad Street it is called East First Street.
