Brian Camozzi is a member of the Knox College Class of 2008. He is a Political Science and anthropology/sociology double major from Sacramento, California. He lives in Hamblin somewhere. After graduating from Knox, he will attend law school.

Early Life

Brian was born on 16 March 1987 and grew up in Orangevale, California. He attended Mira Loma High School. After receiving an IB Diploma there, he came to Knox. Hooray.

Brian and Geoff Brown both played Pancho, the virtuosic, guero-wielding fourth member of a Latin music quartet, in separate fifth-grade productions of the children's play KIDS Radio.

Activities

Brian does a lot of things. Well, not that many. But he tries.

Honor Board

Brian is a Co-Chair of the Honor Board for Winter and Spring 2008. It keeps him busy. Ask him about the intricacies of appellate procedure!

Model UN

Brian is the Secretary-General of Model UN. In January 2008 he will lead a crack team of nascent diplomats to Montreal. In March, he will lead a similar team to Champaign.

The Wiki Fire

He does a lot of work on The Wiki Fire. Somebody once told him that The Wiki Fire was a lot more interesting before he started editing it.

Student Senate

Brian Camozzi is not on Senate this year, but attends all the meetings and is more active than most senators.

2007 Senate Campaign

Brian ran for Student Senate President for the 2007-2008 school year on a platform of significant reform to Senate in order to make it more democratic and more responsive. He intended to optimize Senate's institutional advantages to give students as much oversight as possible and as they are willing to accept, and also to ensure that Senate can function independently in effectively representing the general student body. He got trounced.

More information on Brian's platform is available at [1].

Senate Oversight Committee

Brian continues to work to reform Student Senate, and has authored a number of proposed reforms, including one that would allow all students to participate in Student Senate proceedings.
