NOTE: This is the template to use for courses. Simply fill in the information requested in the italicized sections in parentheses, preserving as much as possible the general order of the article. Of course, remove the parentheses and italics for these blanks except where formatting is specifically noted. If you need examples of usage, you may look at PS 362, PS 363, PS 101, ART 119, or other courses in the "courses" category. Comments and questions on this template may be directed to the talk page.
(Course number, department code in all caps, bolded), also known as (Official Course Name, capitalized, bolded) or informally as (Informal names, if any, or delete this clause), is (very basic description of the discipline this class covers, including whether it is introductory, intermediate, or advanced, if applicable) at Knox. It counts for (credit value, numeral) credit, and is taught by (names of professors who usually teach this course).

Credits and Prerequisites[edit]
This course is worth (credit value) credit. The course counts toward satisfying the (Requirement satisfied. Put this in an internal link, and link directly to the subsection in the Competency Requirements or Foundation Requirements article, and use display text that just says the requirement name – for example, History and Social Sciences) requirements. The prerequisite is (List prerequisites).

Course Format[edit]
(What the class consists of, major points covered, and the method of instruction. The number and type of tests, the general topic areas of essays, the format of the term paper. The type of class participation required, habits and teaching styles of the teachers. Basically, any relevant information that lets a student know what will be going on in the course. Keep this part as objective as possible.
Course Schedule[edit]
This course is usually offered (frequency and terms offered: every spring, every term, once every other year, only once in such-and-such term in such-and-such year). (Note recent or forthcoming exceptions to the schedule, if any.)
