Windows are way better than Macs. Especially if you ever want to play any games.
At Knox[edit]
Whether it is nicer to own a Windows or Mac machine at Knox is an interesting predicament. You will have a much easier time printing with Windows, but it is much easier to connect to the wireless Internet with a Mac.
It is easier to communicate with other Unix machines using a Mac (because it is Unix-based). This makes dealing with NAS and other Unix-based campus computers much nicer.
But every time the Computer Center changes Webmail, it gets more and more messed up for Mac users.
