The Athletics Department is an office organized under the Office of Academic Affairs. The current head is Athletic Director Chad Eisele.
The Athletics Department includes all athletics coaches and college athletic programs. It sort of includes club sports and intramurals, which are governed both by athletics staff and by student government (Student Senate and the Intramurals Board).
Most department offices are located on the first floor of the T. Fleming Fieldhouse, but much of the Fieldhouse as well as the Memorial Gym is used almost exclusively for athletics functions. Beta is pretty close, too.
