Knox MC (Current)
This is a page dedicated to a game of Mornington Crescent (MC) using the Knox College campus as the game board.
Instructions[edit]
- The Mornington Crescent cognate is, of course, the Gizmo Patio.
- Good luck players and be sure to sign your moves using four tildes (~~~~). Unsigned moves will not be considered for game play. (It is henceforth a type C cross delineation game which will make use of the Erzatz-Kal line vector coefficients for ease of vector calculation.)
The Game[edit]
First round[edit]
I think I'll start this one off by picking up some rations for what I expect to be a long game: to the Outpost! -(OG.Brown)
I see what you did there. Obviously you've blocked out the quadside pathways for this first round of turns so that only novices can obtain tokens early on. I may also have to wait longer than I like to initiate a Lofts and Carpets Cascade. Very well then, I move to the Language Lab. -(Camozzi)

Subsequent Rounds[edit]
Note: Type G4-2 play is in effect. The number of players is variable, as per Commuter Entropy rules (see Stovold's Cognate Manual for details). Two other players must play between one player's subsequent turns. For further details on the changes, see the talk page.

I wholeheartedly agree with the institution of they G4-2 player schematic, it should make the play much easier for this form. As this has reshaped the game dramatically I think I'll have to push through the throng of LARPers in Post Lobby and wait on the bench near the Seymour Loading Dock and watch the game develop while a Waugh Foods truck unloads nearby. Geoff seems to be stockpiling foodstuffs. I'm senseing he might be stocking up for the inevitable Seymour power outage that gives people food poisoning due to further decreased Caf/Oak Room conditions. A wise move. I think I'll follow his lead and stock up at the grab 'n go cart. -(BCL)
Ah, but what you two have failed to predict is my move to the facilities services office, specifically Scott Maust's lair of campus temperature control, effectively lowering the temperature in all residence buildings by 50 degrees making your uncrustables too hard to eat. No, not my uncrustables! Well, unfortunately for Camozzi I've found a loop hole in the F quadrant. On a smoke break a caf lady told me of the secret Seymour Union-Old Main tunnel that is situated 10 feet under that mysterious strip of sod that melts before the rest of the South Lawn. I was really counting on my line velocity, but I think I can change my tactics. I will make a small strategic move to the Campus Safety office and declare a noise complaint on Post Hall.
